  • Open Position: MISL will be recruiting new members from upcoming 2017 Ph.D applicants. Candidates should have a strong background in mathematics and some programming experience. Interested students should contact Dr. Stamm, but must apply directly to Drexel's ECE Ph.D. program.
  • I have been awarded a 2016 National Science Foundation CAREER Award for my research in information forensics. My research project is titled "Scaling Forensic Algorithms for Big Data and Adversarial Environments."
  • Two papers by members of MISL have recently been accepted for publication:
    • "A Deep Learning Approach to Universal Image Manipulation Detection Using a New Convolutional Layer" by Belhassen Bayar and Matthew C. Stamm was accepted for publication at the 2016 ACM Workshop on Information Hiding and Multimedia Security.
    • "Computationally Efficient Demosaicing Filter Estimation for Forensic Camera Model Identification" by Xinwei Zhao and Matthew C. Stamm was accepted for publication at the 2016 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing.
