BioMohammad Madihian is with MEDIWAVE LLC, a Radio Wireless Technology Development Advisory Company. He was previously with NEC Corporation of America as Director, Radio Communication System Division, and with NEC Laboratories America as Chief Patent Officer and Department Head leading RF chip development and PHY/MAC layer signal processing research for wireless communication applications. He has worked on research and development of Si and GaAs device-based digital as well as microwave and millimeter-wave monolithic IC's and has a book on CMOS-RF and Its Application to Wireless Network Terminals. He has authored or co-authored more than 140 journal and conference publications including 28 invited talks, and holds 70 registered or pending patents on device, circuit, and system for wireless applications. He has received the IEEE MTT-S Best Paper Microwave Prize in 1988 and IEEE Fellow Award in 1998. He holds 8 Distinguished R&D Achievement Awards and 3 Certificates of Recognition. He has served as Guest Editor to the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, Japan IEICE Transactions on Electronics, and IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques. He is currently serving on the IEEE Speaker's Bureau, Compound Semiconductor IC Symposium Executive Committee, Radio & Wireless Executive Committee, International Microwave Symposium Technical Program Committee, MTT-6 Subcommittee, and MTT Editorial Board.

Dr. Madihian was the Technical Program Chair for both the 2006 IEEE Radio & Wireless Symposium and the 2006 IEEE Compound Semiconductor IC Symposium.
He was the General Chair for the 2007 IEEE Radio and Wireless Symposium and the 2007 IEEE Compound Semiconductor IC Symposium. Dr. Madihian has been the Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Microwave Science and Technology since its inception in 2006. He was the 2008 CSICS Executive Committee Chair Emeritus, and has been chairing the RWS Executive Committee since 2007.
